Artwork Process

When you send us your artwork you need to prepare it the following format for us to create a high quality eco bag for you:

Specifications:

FORMAT:

Artwork should be in either EPS, PDF, or AI files.

If you wish us to proceed with artwork given in JPEG format we may need to alter the artwork to try to improve print quality. No responsibility is accepted for divergence from designs submitted to us in JPEG format.

RESOLUTION:

Vectorized at 300-400 dpi
Line Art at 1200 dpi
Photos at 300 dpi

If the image is blurred and the edges are 'pixellated', i.e. jagged, then the resolution (the amount of digital information or 'pixels' per square inch) of the image is not sufficient. If no other suitable image is available, don't panic! Often we can enhance or even completely re-create the image for you. Call our Artwork Department for advice about this service.

COLORS (PANTONES):

Color matching and description is more an art than an exact science. Remember that the color you describe as azure we may describe as turquoise. We recommend customers to specify color descriptions by reference to the pantone color system, using PMS or "U" descriptions.

NB: Color effect may vary according to the material it is printed onto. If you ask us to proceed without specifying a pantone color reference we retain the right to use our own discretion and accept no responsibility for the printed color effect.

Jute (also known as burlap)

Jute fiber is a totally natural and bio degradable fiber obtained from the jute plant and it is therefore an extremely attractive and renewable source. Being a very strong natural fiber, is also used to produce rope, sacks, floor coverings and carpet backing

JUTE FACTS:

- Versatile, strong and very durable

- 100% bio degradable and reusable

- Great to print on

- Has a wipeable lining and is an ideal shopping carrier bag

NB: Remember with jute, that because of the weave of the fabric, it is difficult to achieve a detailed print, so make sure you have your designs created appropriately. If you are unsure just give us a call

Juco (blend of jute and cotton)

The resistance and strength of jute with the finish and versatility of cotton. This unique natural blend is truly the best of both. Combined together in ways that are just as eco-friendly as the plants they came from, this is the hybrid of the material world. This is also considered the material for "High Society" bags as used in the food halls at the prestigious Harrods and Selfridge's of London

Organic Cotton (certified by EKO SKAL)

Before 1930, all cotton was organically grown. Non organic cotton accounts for 22.5% of all insecticides and 11% of all pesticides used in agriculture throughout the world. This beautiful braid is fabricated from Certified Organic Cotton by EKO SKAL International.

Canvas

Modern canvas is made of cotton. It differs from other heavy cotton fabrics, such as denim, in being plain weave rather than twill weave and is extremely heavy-duty which is also used for making sails, tents, marquees, and other functions where sturdiness is required. Colored Cotton

Colored cotton cannot come in organic, as during the dying process the bag (although made from natural dyes)automatically makes the bag not organic. However, all of the colored cotton bags are made so they are 100% ethical and 100% environmentally friendly.

This is your chance to create your own eco bag/ tote. You can choose the size specifications for your particular project. You can tell us if you want buttons added, your bags to be dyed to a specific pantone, or whatever you want. The minimum quantity for this will be 1,000. How much can the bag hold?

You can hold more than 22lbs for all of our bags.

22lbs is the maximum weight, we should carry, under international standards

All bags have handles which are double stitched to ensure maximum strength.
